ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — More than 370,000 legos are uniquely on display at the North Carolina Arboretum.
The lego exhibit features 14 nature-inspired sculptures, ranging from a giant praying mantis to a monarch butterfly.
Mixing education with entertainment, organizers hope that the family attraction gives people a love for nature.
“It interests kids, families, and intergenerational groups. This is actually our second lego exhibit to host at the arboretum and we’ve found our first exhibit to be a big hit,” said employee Clara Allen.
The last exhibit brought more than 55,000 people.
Both were built by Sean Kenney, an artist based out of New York City.
The ‘Nature Connects, Art With Lego Bricks’ exhibit runs through October 23rd, 2016.
