SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Loved ones gathered Wednesday night to remember a Spartanburg teenager who was gunned down this week.
The coroner’s office says 17-year-old Anna Marie Goode was shot in the stomach Monday morning.
It happened at Hidden Park Apartments on Spruce Street., and deputies say she was shot inside one of the units.
That’s where a vigil was held. People hugged and lit candles as they called for justice:
“She was 17 years old. Nobody should have to die at 17. She had so much life. She had so many friends. We just miss her so much,” said the victim’s grandmother Vicki Smith.
Several other teens were questioned the day Goode was killed. But, so far no one has been charged with her death.
