Hundreds get new diploma after exit exam gets thrown out

Over 800 former Upstate students now have high school diplomas, after lawmakers decided that the exit exam should be through out.

Act 207 allowed students all the way back to 1990 who did not graduate because of the exit exam, to reapply for their diploma.

Over 800 students have now received it because they met all credits needed.

To see if you can apply, contact the district that you should have graduated from.
