(WSPA)— At least three people broke into a home Thursday morning in Anderson County.
The coroner says one of the home invasion suspects was 17-year-old Demacio Robertson of Greenwood.
Someone shot Robertson in the stomach with a shotgun when he broke into the home, coroner says.
Tavis Marquis Jackson, 21, of Abbeville, is another suspect in the home invasion. He was arrested the night of the incident.
Police charged Jackson with burglary 1st degree and additional charges may be possible pending the continuing investigation.
Jackson’s bond was denied and he’s being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.
Police say they are still trying to find another person in connection to this incident.
