Anderson Subway shooting suspect caught in VA


An attempted murder suspect in Anderson has been taken into custody in Henrico County, VA late Friday night.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, Blakely Daniel Robinson, 28 of Anderson was on a wanted list for a shooting that happened at a Subway restaurant on Abercorn Ln. in Townville.

The shooting took place last weekend on the 11th. Robinson reportedly fired multiple shots after reportedly making threats towards the victim, according to deputies.

Members of the US Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force made the arrest according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Dept.

Robinson is still at the Henrico County Jail West and will be extradited to Anderson County.

Sheriff Skipper said, “We can always depend on support from the US Marshal Service. They are good at what they do and we thank them for their continued service.”
