PICKENS CO., SC (WSPA) – A man accused of cutting his ankle monitor after bonding out on sex crime charges has been captured, according to Greenville Co. Detention Center.
74-year-old John Ancil Plumbley was accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl on multiple occasions, according to an arrest warrant.
Plumbley was arrested and taken into custody on March 16th, and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
He was released on April 27th after posting a $10,000 Surety Bond.
Greenville Co Detention Center website shows Plumbley was rearrested September 18 and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Pickens Co says they have placed a hold on Mr. Plumbley to be brought to Pickens Co upon his release to have a General Sessions Bench Warrant served on him to address the ankle monitor issue.
