PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A popular square dance caller from Tualatin was arrested in connection with a child sex abuse case on Friday, police said.
Charles W. Garner, 55, of Tualatin faces charges of rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, according to Tualatin Police Department.
Garner was a popular square dance caller in Washington and Marion counties for the last several years. Investigators fear there may be unknown victims who have yet to come forward.
In square dancing, the caller’s job is to prompt dance figures.
