The SC Highway Patrol is encouraging all motorists to be careful on the roads, especially after the 99th motorcyclist fatality happened this weekend in Anderson.
Last year, 137 motorcyclists died on SC roads and Corporal Bill Rhyne of the SCHP said the majority of these crashes happen because of rider error.
Corporal Rhyne is taking a vacation to New England and will be posting social media videos demonstrating the safety precautions he will take along the way.
Corporal Rhyne will discuss things like pre-trip planning, bike inspections, nutrition, riding safety gear and riding conditions.
Rhyne will post videos on social media at SCHP_Troop 3 and use the #traveling with trooper bill
Rhyne also teaches motorcycle safety classes by appointment.
