The second annual Euphoria Healthy Lunchtime Throwdown is set to begin as a part of this years Euphoria Festival in Greenville.

Competitors this year include Fiona Baulo, 6th grade of Blue Ridge Middle and Delaney Townsend 4th grade, of Stone Academy.

They will compete for the tastiest and healthiest recipe.

Last year A.J. Whittenberg Elementary school fourth grader Sarah Walker, cooked up “Rainbow Chicken Creole” and the prize was to have the dish served on all school lunch menus in Greenville County.

The biggest change this year is the addition of a second category.  There will be separate contests for children ages 8-12 and for students ages 13 to 16.

Entrants must be a student in Greenville County Schools, the recipes must meet USDA guidelines and be budget friendly.
