GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA)— There’s an opportunity for you to see what it’s like to work at a 911 call center.
Greenville Police are having an Open House and you can try some training calls. They answer nearly 400,000 calls a year at Greenville’s Communication Center.
The center on 4 McGee Street will put participants in situations that will test your speed accuracy..
At this event, attendees can:
• Try their hand at coding a 911 call
• Participate in a Q&A session with Communications personnel
• Talk with recruitment officers about becoming a (Communications Specialist)
Tours of the Communications Center will be offered every 30 minutes during the following times:
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
