BATON ROUGE (WCMH)– Louisiana State University head coach Les Miles and his offensive coordinator were reportedly fired on Sunday.

LSU lost 18-13 to Auburn on Saturday after a last-second touchdown turned out to be too late. Referees ruled that the ball was not snapped before time expired.

Miles was in his 12th season as the Tigers’ head coach. He won a national championship in 2007, and SEC titles in 2007 and 2011.

The Baton Rouge Advocate’s Ross Dellenger, who broke the story, said several sources confirmed the reports to the newspaper.
