Knife pulled on man after mail theft in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A man and a woman were arrested after the man pulled out a knife and tried to stab a man who had confronted them for stealing his mail in Greenville, police say.

Police charged 27-year-old Justin Edward Mcleod and 26-year-old Dianna Breeze Strickland with Armed Robbery and Auto Breaking.

Officers were called to Grey Street just before 11pm and the victim told them that he caught the two stealing from his mailbox and then followed them to Grey Street.

When the victim confronted the two, Mcleod pulled out a folding knife and tried to stab him, police say.

Greenville Police say there may be more charges pending as their investigation continues.

Officers say there may be more victims and if you live in the area and suspect mail or packages are missing, you are asked to call the Greenville Police Department.
