ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – All Anderson County buildings will fly the Anderson County flag at half-staff beginning Friday evening to honor the victims of the Townville Elementary shooting.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the teacher, the two 6 year old boys, their families and the school faculty as they begin the road of healing; to the firefighter who selflessly gave his all for the safety of others; Anderson County law enforcement and paramedics, and all first responders and agencies who assisted during the tragic events of Wednesday, September 28th,” said the county’s spokesperson in a statement.
The flags will be lowered through the next Wednesday.
