(WSPA)— If you’ve been craving barbeque, you’ll have a chance to taste some of the best around for Squealin’ on the Square in Laurens. Get your fill today from noon until 10PM Friday, or Saturday from 8AM until 8PM. They’ll have over forty judges to pick the best barbeque. The winners will head to Kentucky for the Jack Daniels Invitational. They’ll have music, crafts and a car and tractor show. Admission is free and open to the public.
Fall has arrived and Oktoberfest returns to Noma Square with four days of brats and beers. They’ll have contests, live music and dancing. It kicked off Thursday but continues Friday and Saturday from 11AM until 10PM. You can also join in on the fun on Sunday from noon until 5. It’s free to attend but make sure you bring money for food and drinks.
Take a trip around the globe without leaving Spartanburg with their International Festival. Celebrating its 30th year, it’s grown to be one of the most popular festivals in the area. It’s happening Saturday at Barnet Park starting at 11 and wrapping at 7PM. You’ll have a chance to experience different cultures with food, music and dance.
