ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – There was an armed robbery at the Stop-N-Go on S. Murray Avenue, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the reported armed robbery at about 9:23 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspect entered the store and demanded money. He was armed with a handgun, according to deputies.
They say he left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.
Deputies say no one was injured.
A K-9 Tracking Team attempted to track the suspect but were unable to find him.
He is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and medium build.
He was wearing dark jeans, a tan jacket, a dark hat, and a bandanna.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
