ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – There was an armed robbery at the People’s Bank on South Main Street Extension, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened at about 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall to about 5 feet 10 inches tall.
He was wearing a khaki long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a black ball cap, and a bandanna over his face.
He was armed with a handgun.
A K-9 tracking team tried to locate the suspect, but they were unsuccessful.
The case is under investigation.
