SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A 20-year-old man was found dead of a gunshot wound to the back in Moore, Saturday morning.
Thompson Kotlarich Demas was found dead at his home on East Killarney Kale Road, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.
A call came in at about 3:52 a.m. Saturday.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Demas’ death as a homicide.
On Monday, Lt. Kevin Bobo said that investigators were diligently working on the case and had identified most of the suspects.
He said some suspects are juveniles and that the sheriff’s office is consulting with prosecutors to determine appropriate charges and if the juveniles will be charged as adults.
