GRIMESLAND, N.C. (WNCT) – A Pitt County man is arrested and charged Monday after deputies say he stole several items and looted during an emergency.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle with a trailer and four-wheeler behind it Monday morning.
It happened near Mobley’s Bridge Road and Highway 33 East.
The responding detective discovered the trailer, two four-wheelers, several guns, chainsaw and other tools to be stolen.
David Michael Chambers, 36, is charged with felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny, possession of burglary tools, possession firearm by felon, manufacture marijuana and looting during emergency.
