Deputies need help identifying robbery suspect in Anderson

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Deputies are looking for a man who robbed the Evans Stop N Go in Anderson, Wednesday morning.

Investigators say a man walked into the gas station on S. Murray Avenue, showed a handgun, demanded money and merchandise before running away.

Witnesses say the suspect is a light skinned black man, who was wearing a tan jacket, a black hat, and had his face covered with a bandanna.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
