Amazon hiring seasonal workers in SC, GA

SEATTLE, WA (WSPA) – Amazon says it is hiring more than 120,000 seasonal positions across its U.S. network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and customer service sites this holiday season.

They say 14,000 seasonal positions were transitioned to regular, full-time roles last year after the holidays and the company expects to increase that number this year.

Seasonal positions are being offered in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Amazon says full-time employees receive competitive wages and comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, 401(k) with 50 percent match, stock awards and bonuses.
