MILLS RIVER, N.C. (WSPA) – Donald Trump Jr. made a stop in Mills River Thursday to campaign for his father.
He visited North River Farms where he spoke with supporters about the value of hard work and even made an appeal to the crowd with his love of hunting.
“I’ve been on the campaign for a while and I haven’t been out bow hunting at all this season. I know you’re probably in the middle of that season. I’m looking at all the little saddles and saying I should put up a tree stand and be hunting right now, but in hunting something else until November,” he said.
Political experts say because North Carolina is a battleground state, expect to see even more stops and visits from both candidates, their running mates and family members in the weeks ahead.
