BELTON, S.C. (WSPA) – A woman has died four days after an attempted murder suicide incident at a home in Anderson County.

The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Monday at a home on 217 Oak Drive in Belton, police say.

Belton Police Chief Tommy Clamp says the woman’s boyfriend was found dead at the scene.

The chief thinks this was a domestic incident.

Officers arrived at the home where a resident told them that his daughter had been shot.

Officers found a man and woman locked inside a bedroom.

The boyfriend, Jean Cesar, 47, was dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

The woman, Takeshia Jamison, 39, was taken to the hospital with several gunshot wounds and died Friday.

Chief Clamp said police had responded to a prior domestic-related incident at the couple’s home before Monday’s double shooting.
