ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – One man is dead after a wreck that happened on Hwy 24 near I-85.
42-year-old Kenneth Lusk was driving a motorcycle, with a female passenger, when a car pulled in front of them, officials say.
They were traveling east on Hwy 24 when the car attempted to make a left turn onto I-85, according to Highway Patrol.
Lusk tried to avoid hitting the car, but lost control of the motorcycle, and he and his passenger were ejected, Highway Patrol says.
They say neither were wearing a helmet, and Lusk died on the scene.
The woman was taken by EMS to AnMed. She is in critical condition.
Officials say 2 passengers in the car were also taken by EMS to AnMed.
SC Highway Patrol is investigating.
