SPARTANBURG CO., SC (WSPA) – A 12-year-old is accused of throwing a knife at her mother and 3-year-old, according to deputies.
It happened on Worden Dr. in Spartanburg Co.
The mom says she had gotten into an argument with the girl when the suspect got a kitchen knife and started swinging it.
She says the girl ran out of the house and started cutting up the Halloween decorations.
The girl then came at the mother and the toddler with the knife, according to the report.
The mom said the girl threw the knife and a scarecrow at her and the 3-year-old.
Two neighbors got the toddler away from the situation, according to the report.
Deputies say the girl was irate and threatening to kill herself.
The mom insisted on the girl being charged.
The girl was taken to the hospital for evaluation and released to the deputy.
She will be transported to Columbia Department of Juvenile Justice, according to the report.
