Breast Cancer Support Pumpkin Painting
SPARTANBURG, SC – Mary Black Health System (MBHS) is holding a pink pumpkin contest for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Several MBHS departments decorated pumpkins with messages to remind women to do monthly breast self-exams and to get their mammograms.
These pumpkins will be on display at the main hospital switchboard until Friday, October 28, 2016. The public is invited to stop by, view the pumpkins and vote for their favorite.
The winning department will be announced on Monday, October 31st.
They want women to know that their Women’s Breast Health Center offers same-day mammograms (weekdays before 3pm) and Saturday appointments during the month of October. No referral is necessary. Call (864) 573-3245.
