HENDERSONVILLE, NC (WSPA) – Hendersonville Police say a robbery reported at Subway on Four-Season’s Blvd. never happened.
The person who reported it, Robert Hewitt, is now charged with filing a false report and larceny by employee.
He is being held on a $2000 secured bond.
They say they are also investigating an unrelated robbery at the BB&T bank on Dana Rd.
The victim says two men robbed her at gunpoint while making a nightly deposit.
