24-year-old Dillon Tanner Johnson was arrested and charged with felony Child Abuse after the incident in early September on Smithville Lane.
Deputies say the child was left in Johnson’s care by the child’s mother, Johnson’s girlfriend, while she left to get food. When she returned, she was told that the child fell out of Johnson’s arms.
The child was treated at the Union Medical Center before being transferred to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
