ANDERSON CO., SC (WSPA) – A crash involving an Anderson Co. deputy happened at at the intersection of Masters Boulevard and Michelin
Road around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to SC Highway Patrol.
They say deputy Steven Brent McKinney was traveling west on Masters Boulevard when he crossed the center line and hit the other car.
Deputy McKinney is being cited for driving too fast for conditions.
A 22-year-old woman had to be cut out of her car and was flown to GHS.
McKinney was hurt and taken to ANMed. He has since been released.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s office will conduct an internal review.
