GREENWOOD, SC (WSPA) – Greenwood High School was on lockdown Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.
They say the reason was unfounded and all the students are safe and they will soon go off lockdown.
A person told deputies they saw a Facebook message from a family member and thought they were going to take a gun to school.
Deputies say the person misinterpreted the Facebook message.
There are 5 or 6 deputies at the school.
