SENECA, SC (WSPA) – Seneca Police say a man sexually assaulted a girl for almost two years at his home starting when she was 8-years-old.
54-year-old Scott Norman Christner is charged with two counts of first degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and first degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
According to warrants, Christner performed sexual acts on the child between October 2013 and June 2015 and recorded them using a hidden camera.
Police say they were informed of the crimes by a school resource officer with Aiken County who said they happened at Christner’s home on Hillandale Road in Seneca.
More charges are possible as the investigation remains active, according to the Seneca Police.
Christner is being held at the Oconee County Detention Center.
