PENDLETON, S.C. (WSPA/Independent Mail) – There was a fire at the Milliken Plant on Excelsior Mill Road, according to Anderson County dispatch.
A call came in at 7:42 p.m. Friday, Independent Mail reports
Pendleton, Zion, Sandy Springs, and Clemson University Fire Departments responded to the fire.
Dispatch said the fire was reported inside the building, in a “welding area.”
Independent Mail says that the fire was small and there was not a lot of damage to the maintenance building.
There were no injuries and the fire was extinguished at 8:08 p.m., Independent Mail reports.
Clemson University Fire Chief Bill Daniel says that the fire remains under investigation.
