LAURENS CO., S.C. (WSPA) – The Highway Patrol says a man riding a motorcycle was killed in a wreck Saturday night.
According to the Laurens County Coroner’s Office, the victim has been identified as Jeff Lindley, 54 of Greenville.
Troopers say it happened around 9:38 pm Saturday on US Highway 221 about 3 miles south of Cross Hill.
They say the man was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson traveling south on US 221 then ran off the road and hit a guardrail face.
They say he was wearing a helmet and was ejected from the bike.
Troopers say he died at the scene.
No one else was injured and the Highway Patrol says no charges have been filed.
