SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man was pulled from a car fire at Wood Memorial Park in Greer, according to Tyger River Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the car fire around 5:20 p.m. Monday.
They say the front end of the car was engulfed in flames when they got there.
After they fought the flames, a fireman saw a person inside the car.
An elderly man was pulled from the car and taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was then taken to Augusta Burn Center.
Greer Police Department and the S.C. Law Enforcement Division are investigating the fire.
