SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg City Council voted unanimously to approve pay raises for police officers and fire personnel, according to the City of Spartanburg.
The council gave their final approval in their meeting on Monday.
According to the City of Spartanburg, $235,000 will be appropriated for police and fire pay increases.
The council also approved three other items that were on the meeting’s agenda.
Those items include water system bonds, transfer of 3 parcels on Northside to Northside Development Group, and annexation of parcel at 2282 E. Main Street.
