SAN DIEGO CO., CA (WSPA) – Two fugitives out of Transylvania, N.C. have been arrested at the Harrah’s Casino in Valley Center, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
27-year-old Jonathan Richardson and 20-year-old Erin Hogsed were wanted for kidnapping, armed robbery, and vehicle theft by the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office let San Diego Law Enforcement know that the pair may have traveled there.
They said Richardson was considered armed and dangerous.
At about 10:24 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy spotted a stolen car related to the N.C. fugitives parked at the Harrah’s Casino.
The couple was taken into custody without incident.
Richardson and Hogsed will be booked into the Vista Detention Center Facility and will remain there until they are extradited back to North Carolina.
