Upstate firefighter charged with indecent exposure

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA)- A local firefighter has been arrested, charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure,

He is now on administrative leave.

The fire chief for the Croft Fire Department in Spartanburg confirmed to 7 News that Benjamin Pope is a firefighter with the department. The chief says Pope was arrested by Spartanburg police and charged with indecent exposure.

He’s on leave pending an investigation.

No other details have been released at this time. We’re working on getting the incident report and the warrant for his arrest.
