Man gets 15 years for I-26 chase, armed robbery

Sayer Anthony-Spang Tamiso pled guilty to leading deputies on a chase up I-26 and then robbing employees at True Timber at gunpoint.

In May, Tamiso led Spartanburg County deputies on a chase down I-26 of speeds over 115 miles per hour.  Tamiso, crashed his car near True Timber, when he went inside and carjacked an employee at gunpoint.

7 News was there as deputies caused Tamiso to crash, taking him into custody.

On Friday, Tamiso pled guilty to Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights.

He was sentenced to 30 years, suspended to 15. That will be followed by 5 years probation.
