SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – One man is dead after a motorcycle collided with a truck on Highway 29 just north of Greer late Friday night, according to the SC Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol reports that a 30 year old man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle ran into the back of a pickup truck on US 29 at 11 p.m.
The victim in the crash has been identified by the Coroner’s Office as Thomas Eric Burgess of Greer.
According to the report, the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
There was no passenger on the motorcycle during the crash. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
