The SC Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a driver who hit a tree.
According to troopers, the wreck happened at 11 pm Sunday on SC 28, 2.3 miles west of Anderson.
Michael Kenneth Haguewood, 61 of Anderson was killed.
He was about 9-10 miles from his house.
Troopers say he was driving west in a 1970 Volkswagen and ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
He was wearing a seatbelt and died on the scene.
