MARION, NC (WSPA) – McDowell Co. deputies say they have arrested from drug charges.
They say Jerry Keith Davis, 46 is wanted for trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.
They say they raided his home on Sugar Hill Road residence on Thursday, Oct. 13 and found at least 2 ounces of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
On Tuesday night, Oct. 18, deputies received information that Davis was at a location on Calico Drive in Nebo.
They say Davis led officers on a chase to Deer Park Road, where he jumped from his vehicle and ran into the woods.
Investigators say they found 12 more grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Davis was not found that evening.
A Dysartsville reported that a man was attempting to get into her house and she locked herself inside a bathroom and called 911.
They say crews from the Sheriff’s Office responded and identified the suspect as Davis.
They searched the woods with a K-9 and arrested him around 10 a.m.
Davis has now been charged with attempted breaking and entering.
