Santa’s Shoppe planned in Spartanburg

The Junior League of Spartanburg is gearing up for its annual Santa’s Shoppe.  All proceeds support projects in the community including children’s literacy and readiness, healthy eating and small grants for teachers.

It starts Friday, Nov. 4 and lasts through Sunday Nov. 6 at the Spartanburg Expo Center.  There will be more than 50 merchants from across the Southeast offering things like jewelry, clothing, art, toys, sweets, stationery and more.

Tickets cost $5 in advance and $7 at the door to shop for three days.  There are also special events including Sip & Shoppe and Cookies with Santa.

Last year the event brought in $75,000.

You can buy tickets from any member of the Junior League of Spartanburg or at the Junior Leage Office at 615 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Please call ahead: 864.583.5842.

There are also merchants selling the tickets.  You can find more information here.
