ANDERSON CO., SC (WSPA) – A Greenwood County woman has died two weeks after a motorcycle crash that claimed her husband’s life in Anderson County.
32-year-old Melissa Lusk died Monday afternoon from a head injury she suffered in the October 16th crash, according to the Anderson County Coroner.
Melissa and her husband 42-year-old Kenneth Lusk were both thrown from their motorcycle after they swerved to avoid a car that had pulled in front of them on Highway 24 near Interstate 85, according to Highway Patrol.
Neither was wearing a helmet and Kenneth Lusk died at the scene.
Two passengers in the car were also taken to the hospital after the crash.
The coroner says the couple had six children.
