Earthquake detected near Summerville SC


CENTERVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The United States Geological Survey website says an earthquake was detected 4km SSE of Summerville.

It happened October 30 around 11:49 p.m.

The site says the earthquake was 0.8 magnitude which is well below what a person can feel.

Most people can’t feel anything below a 2.

They report it happened 4.3 km underground.
