GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man is dead and another man was issued a citation after a motorcycle crash on Rutherford Road.
The deadly crash happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers say 67-year-old Charles O’Shields was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Rutherford Road when he was struck by a man turning out of a driveway.
O’Shields was thrown from the motorcycle after hitting the 2007 Toyota pickup truck in the side and died at the scene, according to troopers.
The driver of the pickup truck was cited for failure to yield the right of way, troopers say.
