Armed robbery on Sumter St. in Greenville Co., suspect at large

GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – There has been an armed robbery on Sumter Street, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery happened just after 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies say a young black man broke into the house and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim.

The suspect fired at least one shot, deputies say.

There are no reported injuries.

Deputies say the suspect fled on foot.

They tried tracking him with K-9’s but were not able to find him.
