Holocaust survivor at Limestone

GAFFNEY, SC (WSPA) – Holocaust survivor Inge Auerbacher told a crowd of students at Limestone College about her time in Nazi concentration camps.

Auerbacher says when she was 7-years-old, she and her parents were taken from their village and thrown into the camp and all miraculously survived.

She has written three books about her life. After her family was liberated from the camp in 1945, they moved to the United States.

After moving to the US, Auerbacher was hospitalized for two years due to a disease caused by years of malnutrition at the concentration camp.

This is the third speaker that Limestone College has had this year.
