Charles Carver’s body found on Kohlhepp’s property, sheriff says

WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) – Sheriff Chuck Wright gave us an update on the investigation involving missing couple, Kala Brown and Charles David Carver.

Brown was found on Thursday, chained in a storage container on property that belonged to 45-year-old Todd Kohlhepp. A body was also found in a shallow grave.

Sheriff Wright confirmed that the body found on Kohlhepp’s property was that of Charles David Carver.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger says that Carver died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Kohlhepp was taken back to his property on Saturday and he showed deputies where two more graves were located, according to Sheriff Wright.

Sheriff Wright said Todd Kohlhepp admitted to murdering the four victims from the 2003 Superbike case in Spartanburg County.
