SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – The James F. Byrnes High School’s marching band won a state championship on Saturday, according to a spokesperson with Spartanburg District 5 Schools.
The James F. Byrnes Rebel Regiment won the SCBDA 5A State Marching Band Championship.
The competition took place at Irmo High School.
District Five Schools of Spartanburg County shared some pictures on their Facebook page, congratulating the band.
