LAURENS CO., SC (WSPA) – Two man were struck by a car, killing one, on Highway 221 in Laurens County.
The crash happened just after 7:30 p.m. Monday when a 2005 Nissan traveling north struck the two people, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The Laurens County coroner says 46-year-old Billy Lindsey Jackson of Waterloo died at the scene while another man was taken to Self Regional Medical Center by ambulance. His condition is not known at this time.
The driver of the car was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The crash happened in front of the Subway near Lake Greenwood at the Laurens and Greenwood County line.
