Jail time possible for woman selling food online

A California woman is facing possible jail time, after selling a bowl of homemade ceviche on social media.

Ceviche is an appetizer made from raw fish, but Mariza Reulas was cited for selling an illegal substance.

Ruelas is part of a group that shares recipes and they occasionally sell what they cook. An undercover investigator contacted her asking for a plate of her ceviche. She’s been charged for selling food without a permit.

Mariza will go to trial after she refused a plea deal of 3 years probation.
